With groups like Passion For Christ professing the gospel of Jesus Christ; God's ability shows forth inside and outside of the church.  Heads always turn when people see how young, excited, and determined this group is, when the opportunity presents another time to win souls over for the Lord.  PFC's music is bold and original, exemplifying special gifts that can only be given from God.  If you wonder what motivates them, be sure to listen for the goodness of Jesus Christ expressed through the songs that they sing, sermons that are preached, which unmistakably interprets how unashamed they are to be completely sold out for Christ.  With songs that captivate the mind, through Mime Dancers (Taken By Force), Christian Rappers (Faith Walkerz) and musical expressions that warm the soul, the world will have no choice, but to take off the boundaries that they have set around the body of Christ.

Birthed out of the very heart of God’s bosom, True Worship began through the eyes of musician and founder Minister Terrance Thomas, and co-founder Mrs. Shalonda Thomas, back in January 2007, in the city of Augusta, Ga. where they currently live. Minister Terrance is not a singer that happens to preach, but a preacher called by God who is gifted to sing. Through God’s grace and much prayer, the dreams of a young church boy would soon come to pass.

PFC Ministries has traveled and performed all over the state of Georgia, including parts of South Carolina. They have also performed on the same programs with recording artist such as: Dorothy Norwood, William Murphy Jr. and Marquis Belcher and Divine Purpose. Minister Terrance received an Outstanding Music Award, and

Passion For Christ has appeared on TV 35 the summer of 2007 in Dublin, Ga.  Minister Terrance Thomas serves as the Minister of Music at Hale St. Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Kendrick Sr.

PFC has been on a mission to save the unsaved, and to share the gospel wherever it is needed through the gifts of music ministry.  They have been included in countless youth revivals, youth conferences, and anniversaries.  Reaching young, urban audiences is a key component of PFC vision, and the ministry mission statement reflects PFC commitment, “Meeting the Needs for Today for Our Tomorrow”. Minister Terrance wants to take lessons as well as his own experiences as a man who grew up with one foot in the church and one foot in the streets, and use that to connect with a generation that’s not really listening to Gospel music anymore.

As time passed, the membership of the ministry fluctuated, yet PFC spirit remained the same. The group is comprised of 6 altos: Nina Scott Sims, Shalonda Thomas, Sylvia Bland, Jocelyn Phillips, April Smith, Crystal Carswell…7 tenors Keith Mercer, Terez Abraham, Janie, Michael Brunson, Scotty Flowers, Dwayne Green, and Johnny…6 sopranos, Asya Stephens, Retrenda Miniweather, Angel Woods, Sonya Mercer, Jennifer, Iradell Miller. Mime dancers Taken By Force” Constance Molly Bland, JaQuana Abraham, Jennifer Abraham, Terez Abraham, and Tyree Abraham, and 2 Christian rappersFaith Walkerz Terrell Lynn, and Jantz Thomas. The musicians include the talents of musical director Minister Terrance Thomas, with the awesome beats of Eric Phillips on drums.

Passion For Christ Ministry has also came in contact with many of God’s people who is constantly in prayer for the ministry, and are covenant partners; Denise Mosley, Kevin Hunter, Kiombi Griffin, Ebony Mercer, Marsha Mercer, Janiqua Roberson, Mandrel Carter, Janis Burge, Antwon Lloyd, New Direction church family, and Victorious Life Ministry.

With much fasting and prayer for the ministry God seem to show Himself in the lives of PFC. On April 28th, 2007 Kairos Entertainment was birthed, under the partnership of Minister Dahl Moss of Faith Temple Faith Precious Ministries; Eastman, Ga. Minister Marquise Belcher of Agape Covenant Worship Center; Forsythe, Ga., and Minister Terrance Thomas of Hale St. Baptist Church; Augusta, Ga. Together they will proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through music.

In closing we are firm believers that what comes from the heart reaches the heart. We pray that the anointing will permeate (to enter and spread through) though our lives and bless (not impress) all that watch, and listen. Entertainment is not our goal, but God be pleased, and someone who hears experience Jesus in a greater way. What makes our ministry so wonderful because it’s Less of us and more of God’s will and our passion for ministry is our divine purpose that overcomes our midnight!
